Matchy Matchy

I did a lot of sewing over spring break this year. I started out with plans to make a couple skirts and ended up making a little more. I had tons of extra material so I made a skirt for Karlee. Here we are posing in our matchy matchy skirts.

Wedding Craft

I think growing up in the south instilled in me a love of monagram and initials so I love that it's pretty in right now. I saw something similar to this online and of course thought "I can make that". The "S" is for my co-worker's (Mikael) new last name. I love how it turned out.

side note...the one I saw online had cute embellishments, but I really liked how this turned out without adding other stuff

Spring Break=Sewing

I finally put my sewing machine to use over spring break. I sewed 2 skirts for me, one for Karlee, 2 itty bitty baby skirts, and re-purposed 3 shirts. I felt so productive by the end of the week and wish I had more time to sew.
